Choosing trainer or behaviour counsultant to work with you and your dog is a very personal decision.  How do you choose the right person to work with? 

They build and strengthen relationships between the human and animal members of a household.

Before your behaviour consult.  You should ensure that your pet has had a examination by veterinarian.  This is important to rule out any biological problems that may be contributing to your pets change in behaviour.

 WHAT TO EXPECT DURING AN ANIMAL BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATION

  • The Animal Behaviour Consultant will take a detailed history of your animal behaviour problems, including any health isssues being addressed by your veterinarian.  We will observce the animal behaviour and interaction with family members.
  • The Animal Behavior Consultant will work with family members to understand the animals natural behaviors and give the pet safe, appropriate ways to express them.
  • The Animal Behavior Consultant will teach your client how to implement a plan to redirect and modify problem behaviors. 
  • As needed, the Animal Behaviour Consultant may offer on-going advice and suport, and will follow up by phone or e-mail to monitor the animal's progress.
