Beautiful girl......Penny never lived in a home, she started her life locked up in a shed most of the time.  We suppose she was let out occasionally as when she was rescued she was locked in the shed with her litter of puppies.  The outside world was shocking to her.  She has come a long way but because she was not given the opportunity to experience alot of the world still needs to learn alot about novel objects and situations.
Penny is a bright and big girl.  Penny is very willing to learn and anyone who is willing to work with her will be amazed at how fast she can learn.
Penny will be a little cautious with new people but quickly warms up and is happy to be your best friend.  With proper introduction she does well with most male dogs.
She makes you laugh out loud when you see her nose dive in her pool or in the snow.  She also loves to fetch and play tug.
You can see her in the pictures anticipating a visit, playing in the snow and doing a sit- stay while waiting for a friend to take her out to play.
Skills that Penny has learned are sit, down, automatiac downs, stay, eye contact, shake a paw, leave it, her on leash skills are still on going and continues to be first in line for her training lessons.

Meet Brody.  Brody is approximately 6 years old, a neutered male, Australian Cattledog X probably with a pit bull.
Brody spent most of his life living tied up.  He also had the misfortune of having been purposely attacked by other dogs.  When he was resued he was on the run for 3 weeks having escaped with severe face trauma from a dog attack.
Brody is smart, hardy, independent, responsive, and has lots of energy. He does well mostly with calm and quiet female dogs, small dogs are fine.  He is not suited to a cat household.
Brody is desperate to get out of the shelter as it causes him much stress.  He get very worried with all the other dogs around.   Brody is loving, happy and ready to be your best pal.  As you can see by the pictures he is smiling at some of his favourite people.
You can see on one of his outings he is happy at work pulling out branches of the creek and really hoping that his car ride means you will take him home.  If you are an experienced dog owner and are familiar with and laugh at Australian Cattledog traits Brody really needs saving.
Brody knows how to sit, lie down, eye contact, stay, walking on a leash, leave it (if he thnks you are serious LOL) and loves to play with toys.
